Privacy Policy
How Bildix handles your information when you learn, create an account or contact us.
1. Optional advertising measurement
Advertising measurement is enabled automatically unless you disable it in Privacy settings. This automatic activation is not a record of consent. Meta Platforms receives marketing-page visits, checkout events and confirmed first purchases: amount and currency, browser/ad identifiers and a SHA-256 hash of the buyer email for ad matching. Hashing is pseudonymisation, not anonymisation. We do not send quiz answers, lesson content or tutor conversations. Use Privacy settings to turn advertising measurement off. Your choice lasts up to 90 days; you can still buy and learn without agreeing. Server attribution records are removed after consent expiry. Meta processes received data under its privacy policy (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/), including applicable international-transfer safeguards. Withdrawal stops future transmission. Contact us for deletion requests.

3. Information we use
We process account identifiers, email, and profile information you provide or share through Google sign-in; quiz answers and learning preferences; lesson progress, project entries and certificates; tutor conversations; support correspondence; and purchase, subscription and activation records. Hosting and authentication services also process technical information such as IP addresses, device information and security logs. Payment details are entered with our payment provider; Bildix does not store your full card number.
4. Why we use it
We use account and learning data to provide the service and save your progress (performance of our contract). We use transaction records to administer purchases and meet accounting obligations (contract and legal obligations). We use technical records and support correspondence to protect accounts, prevent abuse and resolve problems (legitimate interests). Where processing requires consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Required account or payment information is necessary to provide those features.
5. Google sign-in
Google sign-in shares basic identity information, including your email and profile, to authenticate you and link your Bildix account. We do not request access to your Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts. Bildix’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
6. AI tutor
When you use the tutor, your question, recent conversation and relevant learning context are sent to OpenAI to generate a text response. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. Requests use store:false; this does not mean the provider retains no security or abuse-monitoring records. AI answers can be inaccurate and should be checked.
7. Service providers
We use Supabase for accounts and saved data, Vercel for hosting, Resend for service emails, Whop for payments and subscriptions, Google for optional sign-in, and OpenAI for the AI tutor. We share information needed for these functions. Payment and identity providers may also process information under their own privacy notices. We do not sell your personal data.
8. International processing
These providers may process information outside Poland and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Transfers subject to GDPR require an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
9. Browser storage
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, language preferences, quiz answers, learning progress and purchase activation. Guest progress may remain on your device until you clear it. Clearing browser data can remove unsaved progress or sign you out.
10. How long we keep information
Account and learning records are kept while your account is active and needed to provide the service. You can request deletion by email. We retain transaction records for applicable accounting and tax periods, and limited records where necessary for disputes, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Technical records and backups are subject to provider retention cycles. We assess deletion requests individually and explain any information we must retain.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact our email; we may verify your identity before acting. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (uodo.gov.pl), or your local authority. Quiz recommendations personalise learning and do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
